Surah Al-Ahzab Verse 40 [33:40]

Muhammad is not the father of anyone among you, but he is a messenger of God and the last Prophet, and [you should know that] God knows all things.

Commentary Surah Al-Ahzab Verse 40 [33:40]

This verse says that Muhammad is the last messenger of God to mankind1, so people must respect him and they are not allowed to treat with him as they treat with their fathers they should consider that Messenger’s decisions are preferred over their decisions.2 God knows all things and He creates this law with His infinite knowledge.
