Surah Al-An’am Verse 48 [6:48]

وَمَا نُرْسِلُ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ إِلَّا مُبَشِّرِينَ وَمُنذِرِينَ فَمَنْ ءَامَنَ وَأَصْلَحَ فَلَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ ﴿48﴾

We have not sent messengers except as givers of good news and warners, so whoever believes and reforms then neither will they fear nor will they grieve.

Commentary Surah Al-An’am Verse 48 [6:48]

This verse discusses in three parts:

1. The Prophets’ main duty is to bode for heaven and encourage the people towards goodness, and warn them of the consequences of evil deeds

2. Believers who reform their life to suite religion will prosper. To reform their lives means to repent and compensate for their previous sins according to God’s law.
